This five-day course builds the skills and knowledge needed to plan, design and implement a Windows 8 desktop infrastructure. The course provides guidance on planning and deploying physical desktops or virtual desktops by using several technologies, such as Windows Assessment and Deployment Kit (ADK), Windows Deployment Services (WDS) User State Migration Tool (USMT), Microsoft Deployment Toolkit (MDT), Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) based on Windows Server 2012 Remote Desktop Services (RDS), System Center 2012 Configuration Manager (SCCM), and more.
20416B: Implementing Desktop Application Environments
Build the skills needed in this five-day course to be able to design, deploy and manage a physical as well as a virtual Windows Server 2012 application management infrastructure with an emphasis on using System Center 2012 SP1. Students will also learn to design, deploy and manage Windows 8 Enterprise applications in a physical and virtual environment as well as in the cloud.
